Our KOSMOS 21.2 release is here!

We are pleased to announce the new KOSMOS release: 21.2. This new KOSMOS version contains many modifications and improvements on several parts.

In KOSMOS 21.2, we continue to improve the security of the KOSMOS website; the biggest improvement on this part is the addition of Multi-Factor Authentication. Besides this extra feature, we follow the rules of the OWASP guidelines.
In addition to the security part, we also continue to focus on improvements for both the buyer and auctioneer.

For the buyer, we have added more possibilities regarding product images, we have introduced clock presales and also packaging types related to the auction’s product. So, depending on which information the auction can provide, we can configure KOSMOS to work with clock presales amounts and with different packaging types.

We have also extended the functionality of our KOSMOS app for the buyer. From now on, the app supports pictures, rising clock mode and audio.

There are also several new functionalities for the auctioneer. The biggest change is the introduction of our validation widget. The auctioneer can now choose to use the validation (transaction) popup or the validation widget. Both popup and widget contain the same functionality, but only the widget can be added to the auctioneer’s screen layout.

Another extra function is the addition of the viewer auctioneer. A 2nd, 3rd auctioneer can start the auctioneer programme as well, but in viewer mode. In this way, it is possible to assist the main auctioneer and to divide tasks. The viewer auctioneer is able to send messages to buyers, something the main auctioneer usually does not have time for. Furthermore, when making a mistake, a buyer can call the viewer auctioneer so that he can correct the transaction. 

Finally, the use of the lot editor (supply input station) in touch mode has also been improved.
