Introduction auction systems at CAA seminar

Aucxis was invited by the Chinese Association of Auctioneers (CAA) to give a presentation on 27^th November 2016 about the history of the clock auction in Western Europe. The CAA – which was founded in 1995 – is the only national association in the Chinese auction industry, implying that it is the key platform to promote the development of the Chinese auction industry. The CAA has over 2.700 members and represents 80% of the market share.

The seminar was attended by over 150 auctions from different sectors, from antiques to agriculture. The Aucxis presentation as well as the explanation by our customers on the Aucxis solutions (for example the APC fruit & vegetable auction and the KIFA flower auction) were very well received within the organisation.

In the years to come, the Chinese government wants to invest more in this Western European trading model of selling fruit & vegetables in a central market place, including the corresponding quality standards and descriptions. The initial careful steps were already set through several interesting pilot projects. Of course, we hope that our professional, innovative solutions will continue to find their way in China in the years to come.
